Tradition & modernity for over 300 years.
The name of the farm comes from the ancient craft of making loden, which was once practiced on this estate. Loden is a natural textile that is still highly valued today. It is mainly used to make coats and traditional costumes and has a particularly water-repellent and heat-regulating effect.
The traditional walls have remained - but inside the house now floats the breath of modernity.
Through careful restoration, the hosts have succeeded in combining the new with the old and creating a living environment that meets the demands for contemporary feel-good culture.
The house is located 15 minutes walk from the center of Sand in Taufers - just the right distance against the hustle and bustle, noise and crowds, and the welcome proximity for shopping, errands and stops for refreshments.
